Turkey's First Giant Aquarium, Turkuazoo Has Opened
Turkuazoo is home to fresh water fish, salt water fish, ocean fish, tropical fish as well as different types of sharks. The aquarium is located in Bayrampasa and it is completed in six months by a company from New Zealand.
The aquarium is opened by Global Aquarium and Istanbul Water World with 17 million euro investment. Seven divers clean the parts of this huge aquarium and feed the sharks and the other fish in the aquarium. Inkaya said that the divers can easily feed the sharks as they are not dangerous.
The entrance fee to this huge aquarium is 25 TL for adults, 18 TL for students and customers older than 65. The entrance of children between the ages of 0-3 is free of charge.
The fish can be watched 270 degrees in Turkuazoo thanks to the acrylic water tunnels. Turkuazoo is home to the longest underwater tunnels of the world and it allows customers to see more than ten thousand sea creatures.
