The Sunday Times chose the Best 10 Beaches of Europe and Bodrum Turkbuku was chosen as the best beach in Europe. The newspaper stated that Turkbuku is a small fishing town, which is full of yachts, white surrounding and beautiful people. It also added that Turkbuku looks like a small St Tropez and it is magnificient.
