The main reason for this high increase in number is the demand for sunny weather that British people lack in UK. Other factors that motivate many of us to purchase a place in the sun is investment, retirement home and somewhere to take the family and the children during holidays. Many of the destinations abroad offer cheap living expenses especially offering a very large number of fruits and vegetable for extra cheap prices. Low cost airlines became very frequent in the past few years. This allowed many to buy a property abroad and travel to their home nearly every weekend for bargain prices. This made the world a much smaller place and purchasing a property abroad exactly the same concept as buying in the same country, however with one major difference; extra sunshine. Ryanair currently flies to 346 different destinations across 22 European countries. Easyjet operates to 258 routes in Europe. There are several other cheap airline companies with large number of routes available such as bmi baby, First Choice, Jet 2, Aegean Flights, Thomas Cook and Thomson.
