Mintel Reports states this number is actually 4% of British adults, which is equal to 1.9 million people. The report also suggests that further 8% (3.4 million) of the people consider buying property at a foreign country. More and more British people would like buy a property abroad as buying a holiday home is not seen as a luxury for wealthy any more. With the high property prices in UK, some people prefer to invest abroad instead of UK.
