Lykia Group state that the number of Golf Tourists will increase steadily
The Turkish hotel operator, LykiaWorld, recently announced that they are expecting 10,000 wealthy tourists to their resorts from Europe in 2009. LykiaWorld owns the LykiaWorld and LinksGolf resorts located in Belek Antalya. The golf course that was designed by Perry o. Dye was opened in November 21st 2008. The director of the golf resort, Kieron Morrissey, Turkey will be the top golf destination in 5 years time. He also added that majority of the golf courses in Turkey are designed by famous designers and offer a much higher quality than the other parts of the world. In Belek area, there are 15 golf courses which are very close to each other. You can travel from one golf course to the other in less than 10 minutes drive. Mr Morrissey emphasized that famous golfers will choose Turkey by 2010 over all the other popular golf resorts.
