High Demand to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport - Kurtkoy Sekerpinar Property
The number of people who flew to Sabiha Gokcen Airport in 2009 increased by 52.3% when compared to the numbers in 2008. The greatest number of travellers were recorded in December.
The travellers who used Sabiha Gokcen Airport, rather than the larger Ataturk Airport, were mainly from Germany, followed by United Kingdom and Cyprus.
Although Sabiha Gokcen Airport opened only a couple of years ago, both the airport and the surrounding areas close to the airport are in demand at the moment. While the Pendik area used to be an average section to live in, both Kurtkoy Pendik and surrounding areas such as Sekerpinar are in high demand. Large business centres and high quality residential developments are being built. The properties offer a great investment potential. Kurtkoy, Sekerpinar and Pendik mainly has apartment blocks which offer good quality buildings and great transportation links.
