Gocek is 20 km away from Fethiye and 10 km from Dalaman Airport. While travelling from Mugla – Izmir road, Gocek is the first town of Fethiye. Göcek is a famous Mediterranean yacht centre, especially famous with its yacht marinas. Gocek has many small and large bays and islands. Besides boutique hotels, you can find also luxurious villas and high quality good size flats in Göcek town center.
HOW IS IT VISITED?
If you go to Göcek through Fethiye, I suggest you to spare a day for this journey. Firstly, you should visit two beautiful bays full of Sigla trees, which are only found in Fethiye, Marmaris, Rhodos and America. One of these bays is Katrancı which has two sections. The first section of the bay is very shallow and the second bay is very tranquil.
The other bay, Günlüklü is a quite but large bay. There are large number of Günlük trees in this area. After visiting Gunluklu, you can visit the İnlice coast. İnlice is a green town filled with trees. Its coast consists of a long beach. The last stunning destination of our journey is Gocek. Gocek invites you with its bays and relaxing atmosphere.
