Demographic of British People who Purchase Holiday Home Abroad

A large group of British buyers would like to buy a property in the search of a change in their lifestyle. The major group of British people who have bought or looking to buy an overseas property for holiday purposes fall under the age group of 35 to 45. However, Mintel (2006) journal gives a wider group by stating the age of British people who are most likely to buy property abroad as 25 to 44. The same journal also states that the majority of these people are AB classed men. Retirement is still the main reason for Britons buying a property abroad and the age of the people purchasing a property for this purpose is much lower than before.
