Chance to Visit the Alanya Castle by Train
The train will start from Damlatas Cave and pass through the west side of the castle. By the help of Alanya Castle Protection Aimed Development Plan, it can go to the inner castle entering the doors as well. The system, which reduces the risk of accidents will not spread poisonous gas as it will be working with a silent electric motor.
The train, with its 40 people capacity special wagons, will only take 10 minutes to travel. With this train, 240 people can be carried in an hour. Therefore, tour buses' occupying the castle road in summer months will be prevented and the number of tourists which visits the castle will increase.
Alanya Mayor Hasan Sipahioglu, said that with this project, especially foreign tourists will have much more better route to the castle. Sipahioğlu also stated that, with this train, the historical structure would be saved and tour buses occupying roads causing traffic will be prevented.
Thanks to this project, the output and landing to Alanya Castle will be much more easier. Ones who go to the castle by train, will have the sea on one side and historical structure, green nature on the other.
