New York Times chose the 31 destinations that needs to be visited in 2010. The list has two destinations from Turkey which are Cesme and Istanbul. Cesme, especially Alacati, has the 8th place in the list, while Istanbul was 19th. The results are suprising as Cesme has not been in the list previously.
Cesme is a very pretty town with stunning natural beauty and lots of amenities. The mayor, Mr Dalgic stated that the visitors can only see 10% of the potential of the area and Cesme has a lot more to offer to tourists.
