Canal Istanbul - Second Bosphorus Istanbul
Prime minister, Mr Recep Tayyip Erdogan, announced his exiting project, called CANAL ISTANBUL. Although the prime minister did not state the exact location of the project, he expressed that the new canal will link Marmara sea and Black sea. This new canal will form the 2nd Bosporus.
The length of the new Bosporus will be approximately 45 to 50 km. The depth will be 25 meters and the width will be approximately 150 meters.
This new project will reduce the ship traffic of the Bosporus. 160 ships will pass through the new Bosporus every day.
Prime minister, Erdogan stated that the two airports, Ataturk Airport and Sabiha Gokcen Airport is not enough due to the large number of flights arriving in Istanbul. The new project will include a third airport , which will be the largest airport in Turkey.
This project will also include residential developments and cultural centres. As well as forming a new Bosporus, the new project will also include a Manhattan style island. Sunny Days Properties has a large portfolio of properties close to this new project. Please call or email us for more details.
