Chairman of Didim Tourism Association, Deniz Atabay, stated that Altinkum Beach is considered among the ten best beaches of the world in the survey by Thomson. Atabay also added that if we increase our number of qualified facilities, our tourism potential will also increase. He added by saying “Placing 7th in the survey has made Turkey honoured. This increase is the result of change and regular growth in our town. Lots of problems are solved with the studies of our Municipality. Our aims are big and we will work to achieve them.”
Atabay also mentioned that Altinkum’s five star hotels fill their highest capacity. If Altinkum satisfies the demands of tourists, more people will visit the area.
Altinkum property – Altinkum currently has the highest number of Bristih people who live in the area. Majority of the home owners prefer to visit the area during summer, while other live in the area permanently. Altinkum property is especially preferred as the property prices are very cheap and majority of the properties are very close to the Altinkum beach.
