Alanya has the largest Aqua Park in Europe

Alanya is located on the coast of Mediterranean sea and it is surrounded by high mountains, greeneries and rivers. This beautiful town has more than 300 days of sunshine and the temperature rarely falls below 10 degree Celsius in the winter. Reasonable property prices, 26 km of sandy beaches, several historic sites and its pretty marina and harbour attract many buyers to this area. There are a large number of sport activities you can choose from. Wind surfing, parasailing, banana boating, jet skiing and tracking on Taurus mountain are only some of them. All the golf courses are open all year round.
Although Alanya gets 1 million tourists annually and generates 10% of the tourism revenue in Turkey, tourism is not its only income. Farming is crucial for Alanya. They grow lemon, oranges, tomatoes and cucumber.
Antalya which is close by has charter flights all year round for very cheap prices. Alanya Gazipasa Airport, which was completed in 1999 however could not open due to the refusal of licence, will open in 2009. The Alanya Airport will have large number of charter flights from all the major European cities.
