Kayakoy is accepted as a place which represents peace between Greece and Turkey. During the Lycia times, it used to be known as Karmilassos city and Levissi before that. Kayakoy has several old residential properties, chapels, two large churches and school. The destination has small boutique wine houses where you can taste local wines. The restaurants have “cook and eat” style where you can cook your own food at the BBQ. Kayakoy has easy transportation links by dolmus until 23:00 pm. If you are a walking fan, you can also walk to Kayakoy from Fethiye.
